USGBC National Member Organization Employees - Register now to vote for LEED v4


The LEED v4 Ballot is right around the corner. Want to vote? Register between April 1-30.
Who can register to vote?
All employees of USGBC national member organizations with membership in good standing since March 1, 2013. Membership should remain in good standing through the ballot period this summer. Be sure to register first at: http://www.usgbc.org/ballot

USGBC NFC Monthly Lunch April 2013 - Central Geothermal Systems

Cost: $15 for individual NFC members, $25 for nonmembers, and $10 for students (lunch is included).

The Central Geothermal System concept combines the efficiency of a traditional geothermal heat pump system with centralized heating, cooling, and air handling to move us to an even more efficient systems with additional significant benefits including better humidity control, centralized maintenance, enhanced acoustics, and superior flexibility. For this presentation, Al Grosskurth, LEED AP, Sales Engineer for Trane will discuss how a central geothermal plant works and how it is different from a typical geothermal system. He will also give tips on how to evaluate if a central geothermal system is right for your building as well as the key benefits of this system.
